The appearance of a rooster

The role of the leader of a community is to be the commander. Even if the community was primitive, its role began with command. An order or instruction presupposes a particular time of the future. From now on, from when in the future, or at a certain point in the future, there is no command that is not accompanied by the time.

An instruction that does not include a specific point in time in the future cannot be an instruction. It was the responsibility and privilege of the head of the community to dictate the time. The supreme leader's domination of the time (set point of view) continued into modern times. The Chinese emperor, who was the leader of the East, allowed the entire East to use his own time. In the Eastern countries of the Chinese character culture, the era name designated by the Chinese emperor was used in all official documents and record documents until modern times.

It started with the rooster to tell a particular time in early society. The rooster, which marks the beginning of the day, was the most important animal representing the time not only in the East but also in human society around the world. In the early community, it was natural to use the rooster, which informs the morning, as a symbol of the leader. It was not because the rooster was brave or had other specialties, but because it was the only animal that told the time.

the peculiarity of a rooster Among birds

There is a claw that only the rooster has. It is called a daughter-in-law's claw in Korea because it is a degenerated claw, but this claw is a weapon for a rooster when a rooster fights. Some cockfightings appear with a blade attached to this claw. Rooster's daughter-in-law's claws are not caused by degeneration, but are toes developed because they are needed to fight.

This claw, which symbolizes the rooster, can be found in legendary animals such as the Three-legged crow and phoenixes in the ancient history of the East. The rooster continues to this day and is replaced by other animals. The eagle used in the Roman army was also because the rooster, the prototype of the eagle, symbolized the best.

The same is true of the fact that there is a rooster at the top of the world's famous cathedral and that sports organizations use the rooster as a symbol. Even now, a rooster made of iron, often seen in spires of world-famous cathedrals, symbolizes the supreme authority of the cathedral. It means that's the supreme power.

This rooster changes over time into an eagle or an imaginary three-legged crow, and a three-legged phoenix. In the case crow, it has been used as a symbol of the Korean people, until now the symbol of the president of the Republic of Korea is the phoenix. In the case of China, dragons were used.

These roosters are still often used as symbols for each national team and are also used as emblems of national or sports organizations. It does not express the bravery of the rooster, but means the supreme ruler.

The rooster's spur claws are the only birds that have them, and the rooster's claws have evolved as a fighting weapon, not as a degeneration of the toenails.

In Korea, the crest of a rooster is the word "벼슬" and is still used to satirize the country's high government officers.

Birds, rooster, and phoenixes, which are the generic names for birds. A bird with a long and colorful tail was called a bird(鳥), and a bird with a short tail was called Chu(雛). It was natural that the rooster, which announced the morning with a cry among domesticated birds in human hands, was used as a symbol of the head of the community at the beginning of the letter.

This is why the phoenix, a legendary bird used as a symbol of the emperor, has the characteristics of a rooster. If you look at the Oracle characters' the rooster letter, it is not just a picture of the rooster, but most of the pictures of the rooster are accompanied by colorful humans. On the other hand,  the Oracle characters of the bird(雛) is simply a painting of a bird without the appearance of a human being.

Oracle character's spear(戈) and the rooster(鷄)letters pointed the signal the beginning of letters, played an important role in the composition of early letters.

Due to the nature of characters, characters cannot be created without the appearance of the ruling class, who is the commander. The person had to appear in order for a simple picture to have meaning.

Sodo is where a priest named Cheon-gun(天君 Lord God of the gods) stays. The emperor was the head of the tribe. Entering the Iron Age from the Bronze Age, the early state of the establishment, which served as both a priest and a military commander, also began to be divided into priests and military chiefs. The power of the priest is gradually dwarfed, and the characters that symbolized the ritual are also replaced or deleted with other characters.

A symbol of the rooster in use today

The rooster is still used as a symbol of the leader, and the French people's love for the rooster is particularly special. French poet Jean Nicolas Arthur Rimbaud knows how to 'say hello to the rooster' in his poem and to greet beauty. Just as Koreans know themselves as descendants of Goguryeo, the French consider the Gol people their ancestors.

from the age of painting to the age of writing

When the rooster announced the morning, the community woke up. Together, they went to war or hunting, collected, and began primitive farming. As the rooster was communicated as a symbol representing the head of the community, paintings on caves and rock walls began to be written.

Since the advent of the Bronze Age, there has also been a big change in letters. Unlike the early days of letters, which had poor means of symbolizing the king, letters related to the king began to become colorful.
