The role of the leader of a community is to be the commander. Even if the community was primitive, its role began with command. An order or instruction presupposes a particular time of the future. From now on, from when in the future, or at a certain point in the future, there is no command that is not accompanied by the time.

 

An instruction that does not include a specific point in time in the future cannot be an instruction. It was the responsibility and privilege of the head of the community to dictate the time. The supreme leader's domination of the time (set point of view) continued into modern times. The Chinese emperor, who was the leader of the East, allowed the entire East to use his own time. In the Eastern countries of the Chinese character culture, the era name designated by the Chinese emperor was used in all official documents and record documents until modern times.

 

It started with the rooster to tell a particular time in early society. The rooster, which marks the beginning of the day, was the most important animal representing the time not only in the East but also in human society around the world. In the early community, it was natural to use the rooster, which informs the morning, as a symbol of the leader. It was not because the rooster was brave or had other specialties, but because it was the only animal that told the time.

There is a claw that only the rooster has. It is called a daughter-in-law's claw in Korea because it is a degenerated claw, but this claw is a weapon for a rooster when a rooster fights. This claw, which symbolizes the rooster, can be found in legendary animals such as the Three-legged crow and phoenixes in the ancient history of the East. The same is true of the fact that there is a rooster at the top of the world's famous cathedral and that sports organizations use the rooster as a symbol. Even now, a rooster made of iron, often seen in spires of world-famous cathedrals, symbolizes the supreme authority of the cathedral. It means that's the supreme power. 

 

This rooster changes over time into an eagle or an imaginary three-legged crow, and a three-legged phoenix. In the case crow, it has been used as a symbol of the Korean people, until now the symbol of the president of the Republic of Korea is the phoenix. In the case of China, dragons were used.

This is why the phoenix, a legendary bird used as a symbol of the emperor, has the characteristics of a rooster. Regarding phoenix, Heo Shin (30~124 AD) regarded it as a composition of snakes, deer, dragons, and turtles in his book, Questionnaire Haeja (a total of 30 books; 100 AD started writing, 121 completed), Volume 4 and Bongjo (鳳條).

The rooster is still used as a symbol of the leader, and the French people's love for the rooster is particularly special.
